Calvary Chapel Bible College
A Ministry of Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa California
Chuck Smith, Pastor
"You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." 2 Timothy 2:1-3
God is moving mightily by His Holy Spirit in this generation and we praise Him for His mighty works. As a part of what God is doing by His Spirit worldwide, He has raised up the Calvary Chapel ministries to help feed His people with His Word. As God leads you to deepen your relationship with Him through an in-depth study of His Word, we welcome you to join us. May God bless you richly with His abundant love." Pastor Chuck Smith, President, Calvary Chapel Bible College
The Calvary Chapel Bible College at St. Joseph (CCBC-SJ) is an outreach of Calvary Chapel St. Joseph; Jim Morgan is the Senior Pastor. It is also an extension campus of CCBC Murrieta Ca., which is an outreach of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa Ca.
The students at CCBC-SJ are working in four different programs: The Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies (for those with transferable general education units), the Associates Degree in Theology (for high school graduates), the Certificate of Completion (for those who have not graduated from high school), and the Audit Program (for those seeking to deepen their relationship with the Lord).

Scott Gurwell - Campus Director

It gives me great pleasure to extend an invitation for you to join us here at CCBC-SJ. We feel the Lord has established a great program, taught by many gifted teachers of His Word. It's my prayer that as you begin your course of study here at CCBC-SJ, you will see and respond to the many opportunities the Lord will grant to you as a result of your faithful study of His Word.

The following verses expresses my feelings of the importance of studying His word, "I esteemed His Word more than my daily bread (Job)"  Jesus also said, "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds out of God's mouth ."

David said "Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You! Blessed are You, O LORD! Teach me Your statutes! With my lips I have declared All the judgments of Your mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches. I will meditate on Your precepts, And contemplate Your ways. I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word."

May God richly bless you as you look unto Him and meditate in His Word.

In His Name,
Scott Gurwell
