And now IBM has figured out a way to use photons (light) for the circuity vs. semiconductors (wires)!

Or an X-15."
So what does this mean to us? Well you can gene sequence your baby for future diseases and maybe they will come up with a "half accurate" climate model so we will actually know whether there is global warming and whether we are at all responsible! And even more importantly we can better search for aliens! And of course the military will find all sorts of applications! Also, we can make better robots so we can do less physical work and get even more obese ! 3D movies will improve and so will holographs (image of the beast?)!

incredulousRemember Tom Cruse in "The Minority Report" movie? There were computers embedded in the walls that performed scans of his chip as he walked by. They then produced advertisements directed at him. Well Hollywood is now! China is experimenting with facial recognition software which scans a person's face, making an approximate age determination (within 10 years) and gender and then displays relevant adds and tweaks them based on reaction. This is another example, in my opinion, of how Knowledge will increase, as described in Daniel, in the End times.
The context seems to be that just as birth pangs increase for a woman in childbirth, these things will increase. Also, they may tend to occur in unlikely places.
Many casualties expected after big quake in Haiti

With communications disrupted there were no reports of deaths or injuries soon after the quake, as powerful aftershocks shook the country. The earthquake had a preliminary magnitude of 7.0 and was centered about 10 miles (15 kilometers) west of the capital of Port-au-Prince, the U.S. Geological Survey said. It had a depth of 5 miles (8 kilometers). It was the largest quake recorded in the area, said USGS analyst Dale Grant, and the last major one since a magnitude-6.7 temblor in 1984. UN says Haiti quake worst disaster it has ever faced
The earthquake in Haiti, which may have killed 50,000 people, is the worst disaster that the UN has faced in its history because of the number of local structures it destroyed, said a spokeswoman for the UN's Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Elisabeth Byrs. (AFP)
And the 2009 results are in and seem to show an increase in what I consider the more intense quakes of 7.0 or more (not including the 7.0 already in Haiti in 2010). I told my 86 year old mother that, if she lives long enough, she will be required to be on the internet for tracking purposes and to be able to buy and sell. As has been pointed out by Hebrew scholars, however, "WWW" does not add up to 6 hundred and 66 but still one can argue that it represents 3, 6's in a row, which I believe tells us that the Antichrist, which for those of you who don't know that the book of Revelation identifies with this number, he will use the internet to prevent those who refuse his "Mark" to be able to buy or sell!

happyWell, the G-20 meetings are over and the media has given us a cursory view of what happened! Everything is getting better in their view because the US now admits that it has not cared enough about the rest of the world (even though we provide more foreign aid to the rest of the world than all of the other countries combined, probably?) and will do better and accept the New World Order! The US is now admitting it is a major contributor to the alledged "Global Warming" theory! Some say it is just a means for the UN to extract a world tax to fund it's socialist/communist schemes!
But what is really happening on the world scene:
Before the meeting the heads of China and Russia suggested the world adopt a new world currency (see my 3/19/09 blog)!
N. Korea is wanting to shoot off their latest missle for eventual launching of a satelite supposedly for peaceful purposes. It is said it could reach Alaska, if wanted?
Benjamin Netanyahu is the returned Prime Minister of Israel after many years. He is against the World's solution, including Pres. Obama and Sec. of State Clinton, of 2-States in his country, which would further put Israelies at risk from terrorism.
Iran is building nuclear weapons and Netanyahu has told Obama that if the US does not stop them, Israel will!
Pres. Obama went to these meetings, with hat in hand, in humility! In the past the US was in command of these meetings and was there to tell the rest of the world what was going to happen! The Christian Bible points towards a time when the world seems united in currency and commerce but is totally against the nation of Israel. A war breaks out against Israel led by countries around the middle east and curiously their does not seem to be any assistance by the US. Could this be because we have been reduced in stature and power? The Bible seems to say that the Lord will come during this time taking His believers to Heaven for 7 years while He pours out His rath on what is going on on the earth!
Are you ready for His soon return? With the world in turmoil financially and spiritually and the earth convulsing with earthquakes and volcanic erruptions and wild fires and hurricanes and tornadoes, God is the only hope during these times! Humble yourself before Him and He will give you the only peace you can have on this earth before He comes!

With the UN and Russia pushing for a new reserve currency, other than gold and dollars, and the US Fed flooding our economy with inflated dollars yesterday and the G-20 meeting next month, is it time for the world leaders to introduce a one-world currency? The Bible seems to speak to this very thing happening after the Lord Raptures His Church but before He comes back to stop the Armageddon War! If we are this close, the Rapture could be even closer? Are you ready to be raptured, if the Lord is ready?

incredulousWell, we know we are in the end-times when the United Nations (UN), which is supposed to represent all nations, has allowed a scurrilous display to be exhibited in it's building blaming the Palestinian's plight on Israel. They fail to mention that Israel actually gives them some rights contrary to the camps in Jordan and Lebanon and Syria! There were hardly no Palestinians in the area until the UN gave Israel the land. Then the Arabs attacked the new State and in defending itself in 1948, 1967 and 1973 took additional land as a buffer from future attacks! Of course, the UN coerced by the Arab nations, claims Israel should give the land back! Can you imagine us giving the southwest back to Mexico even though they lost the war? Only Israel, the apple of God's eye, is singled out like this!
This is because this is a spiritual war between God and Satan and I bet you can guess who is on Satan's side! It does not appear that the rapture occurred on Rosh Hashanah unless we didn't go but you would think there would have been reports of some people vanishing somewhere? So the next major feast/festival day is the Feast of Tabernacles which falls on our October 13th or 14th. It begins with a shout, by the way, and lasts for 7 days! So maybe or maye not it will occur. If it doesn't then we will continue on trying to figure out the Lord's Will for us! With the state of the World's economy we may be nearing the beginning of the last 7 years, known as Trials and Tribulation! CBNC was actually asking for someone to step forward and go on the air and explain how the world can get out of this! The Bible says a man will come on the scene some day and have apparent answers for the world's major problems at the time! So, keep looking up!
